It's cool to watch with smooth, yet now outdated, cinematics and graphics.Pop in the CD, turn on the game, and grab an energy drink. This is a great soundtrack for any Halo fan that loves the music while playing the game. A must buy for all Halo fans.From Xbox Live gamer, "Really Unlucky". There's nothing better than a pure Halo experience with both the visuals and the sounds. Many of the best tracks are very short, while others that were less popular are as long as 8 minutes long. Overall it's a very balanced soundtrack with a large variety of different sounds and music.The bundle also comes with a trailer/demo prior to the release of Halo 2.
I would recommend to others, especially those who are really into the games. My son and I liked this soundtrack very much. I don't think I've ever bought a "game soundtrack" before this.
Good score and put together very well. When I listen to the tracks it perfectly reminds me of playing the game. This disc is great.hands down. I put this up there with Advent Rising as to how the score folows the game and everything fits together so well.
Besides the memorable main theme (punctuated by strong a cello section), I found the majority of the album lacking spirit or liveliness, that is, boring.
The music is diverse enough to keep you interested, but not so disjointed that you notice. I'm not a huge gamer, but I liked the music I heard when I first turned on Halo. Bought the CD, very happy with it, and throw it in my stereo once a week or so and play it once through on random.
